Description:

Low mechanical Q makes K-81 well suited for use in flaw detectors, thickness gages and in applications where a broad bandwidth is desirable. Negligible aging of the piezoelectric constant increases the stability and reliability of transducers made from K-81. The high stability of dielectric constant and piezoelectric constant with variations of temperature and pressure make K-81 well suited for deep water and High Temperature transducer applications.
